By Rail: 

From London
– Clacton Line Service. Trains are hourly from Liverpool Street (ONE) – Extra trains during commuting hours

From Colchester
– Walton Line Service Trains are hourly from Colchester North (via Colchester Town Station).

By Road

From London
Follow the A12 as far as Colchester. Leave the A12 at the Colchester slip road and follow the A133 Clacton Road until Essex University can be seen on the right hand side of the dual carriageway. At the top of Clingoe Hill take the B1027 St Osyth Road and then continue on at the traffic lights onto the B1028 into Wivenhoe.

From Ipswich
Follow the A12 as far as Colchester. Leave the A12 at the Colchester slip road and follow the road into the outskirts of Colchester. Turn left at the double roundabout and then follow the A133 Clacton Road until Essex University can be seen on the right hand side of the dual carriageway. At the top of Clingoe Hill take the B1027 St Osyth Road and then continue on at the traffic lights onto the B1028 into Wivenhoe.
